Full Time 2nd Chef
Full Time 2nd Chef with creative skills experience, required to assist Head Chef in the running and managing of two kitchen areas in a busy 3* hotel.
Duties will include :-
Day to day cooking and prepping
Managing staff in different areas of hotel ie Bistro, Carverys, Functions and Private Dinners
Menu designing with Head Chef and must have the ability to present food to a high level and create new dishes when asked
Managing a team of 10/11 chefs
Managing wastage, spillage and stock rotation
Ensuring a high level of cleanliness maintained at all times
Managing the kitchen area in the absence of Head Chef which will involve ordering of foods, staff rotas and liasing with management throughout the day to ensure the smooth running of service.
Motivating and training of junior chefs
Salary averages £25 – £27 K paid weekly and by the hour
