The Gobbins Cliff Path
On the very edge of the Irish Sea lie The Gobbins cliffs.
These towering giants cling to the edge of Islandmagee some 55 miles from the Hotel on the stunning Causeway Coastal Route.
While The Gobbins is a spectacular new adventure on the Causeway Coastal Route , it is also a re-awakened coastal experience which was first enjoyed in 1902 by the Edwardians. The modern cliff path at The Gobbins is an unexpected white-knuckle walk which will thrill those with a sense of adventure with the feeling of walking on water as you begin to experience being on the edge of Northern Ireland.
The new Visitor Centre located a short distance away from The Gobbins Cliffs is where the expedition will begin. After a brief safety induction, visitors will be transported to the top of the path and guided on their journey.
Along the trail, visitors will not only enjoy spectacular views of the natural landscape but will be able to get up close to a diverse range of wildlife and gain privileged access to Northern Ireland’s only mainland colony of Puffins alongside various other bird species.
The Gobbins is open daily from 9.30am to 5.30pm and is not suitable for very young children. Adult tickets £8.50pp, Concessions £6.00pp and Family tickets from £23.
Book your stay at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine and explore the new Gobbins cliff pathway.
