The Lodge Hotel is a 3* property situated in Coleraine. The hotel has 56 bedrooms with 5 conference/banqueting suites and 2 restaurant areas. We currently employ over 100 staff and can cater for 1000+ guests on occasions throughout the hotel.

Full Time Commis Chef
Hours of work 35 - 40 hours per week
Wages will be discussed at interview as this will depend on level of qualifications and experience
Working hours includes split shifts and weekend work
Job will involve a variety of jobs to include Bistro Style Cooking, Lunchtime Buffets, Sunday Carverys,
Banquet & Wedding Meals and Desserts

 

Part time Bar & Waiting Staff
Required to work evenings and weekends
Experience preferred but training will be given on the job

Approx 20 - 25 hours per week
Minimum Wage at hourly rate

 

Assistant Restaurant Manager - Part-time or Full Time
Hours: Part Time 20 or Full Time 40 hours per week approx (will include split shifts Monday - Sunday)

Job Duties: Overseeing the running of 2 restaurants and 5 conference/function suites, from setting up to clearing down. Ensuring customer service is maintained at a high level. Assisting Restaurant Manager with staffing levels on a day to day basis. Helping to manage stock levels & spillages in and around food service & store areas.

Qualifications: Must have previous management/supervisory experience in hotel/restaurant. Excellent customer service skills, Basic Food & Hygiene Certificate essential, silver service experience preferred but not essential. Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate & Wine & Spirit Certificate preferable but not essential.
Wage will be discussed at interview.

 

Part Time Pastry Chef
Part time pastry chef required to work alongside our Head Pastry Chef
3 Days per week 9.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
Must have experience in pastry and have flair with the presentation of desserts
Be able to work in a team and occasionally help out on Sundays when requested
Wages discussed at interview and will depend on level of experience/qualifications.


Trainee Junior Chefs

Will involve working at weekends and holiday periods Experience is not essential as training will be given
